Accordionists are gearing up for the 2013 AAMS “Weekend of Workshops & Festival”. Fourteen Workshops which begin on Friday Evening March 15, 2013 and go thru Sunday 3:PM March 17, 2013 are planned. Due to growing attendance, all workshops will be held in the significant larger room called “The Gallery”. Displays will be held in Salon B. All events will be held at the Hanover Marriott – 1401 Route 10 East, Whippany, NJ.
Bring your accordion if you wish, in order to actively participate in learning new techniques during at least 6 of the workshops. If you are more comfortable observing rather than actively participating in these particular workshops, you are more than welcome to attend with or without your accordion.

The Gala Banquet and Concert will include the Accordion Pops Orchestra conducted by Al Terzo; Potomac Accordion Ensemble conducted by Joan Graumann; AAMS Honoree Beverly Roberts Curnow; Albert Manginelli 2012 United States Champion; Cody McSherry; Mary Tokarski; Dr. Lou Persic; Westmont Philharmonia Accordion Orchestra conducted by Stan Darro, and the Westmont Accordion Club conducted by Joanna Darrow. Lenny Feldmann will be the Master of Ceremonies.This event is presented in conduction with the Mid Atlantic Music Teachers Guild.
It is encouraged that Banquet Tickets be purchased prior to March 1, 2013. Pre-Registration for the 3 day Workshop Pass offers a $10.00 savings if purchased prior to February 1, 2013.
