Kim and Dan Christian are excited to invite you to the Albuquerque Accordion Extravaganza and Band Camp! This is your chance to perform in Albuquerque, New Mexico!! The event will be held at Hyatt Place Albuquerque Airport Hotel from May 14 – May 17, 2025
They share, “In 2025, we are moving the event back to Albuquerque.We had a very enthusiastic and appreciative audience last time we held this concert in Albuquerque! Room rates are $125 – $131.
There is a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport and there will be a shuttle available to and from the event and possibly other activities for a minimum fee ($3 – $5 per person per trip). All rehearsals, workshops and open mic events will take place at the conference room at the hotel. The performance will be at The First Unitarian Church on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 2:PM.
Our intention for this event is that you will have the most fun ever and you will be very proud to be a part of this Awesome Accordion Orchestra! Come and be a part of this fun, interactive 4 day event where you will be working together with people from all over the US and Canada, to perform a versatile and entertaining set of music in front of an appreciative and energetic audience in Albuquerque! With this performance, we want to show the audience just how versatile the accordion really is! When you get signed up, you will be sent the music to several great band pieces.”
This is a very fun event where Kim and Dan promise that you will definitely notice an improvement in your technical playing skills, articulation, and performance skills and you will be very proud to be part of this impressive Accordion Orchestra! Videos throughout the upcoming months of each song to be performed so that everyone will understand how the pieces will go and what is expected with tempos and articulation. There will also be Zoom meetings with the attendees as well. Also, suggested is a private lesson to ensure you have help with anything you need.
When you get signed up, you will be sent the music to seven great band pieces. Kim and Dan promise that you will definitely notice an improvement in your technical playing skills, articulation, and performance skills and you will be very proud to be part of this impressive Accordion Orchestra! The audience absolutely loved this Albuquerque Band Camp performance in 2022 which received a long and hardy standing ovation. Participants also performed in 2023 on the famous Branson Strip in Branson, MO. at a professional theater!

Registration Fee for Accordionists Only: $269
Includes: Music, built in workshops, and the ability to work directly with Dan and Kim in a band setting which will help improve your playing skills and most importantly, you will be part of a performance that you can be proud of for a large crowd in Albuquerque, New Mexico!! You will receive several free Zoom group lessons on the music prior to the event. You will also receive videos for each song that you can listen to and practice with at home.
Costs for the additional fun events will be available soon. These are all voluntary, of course. The activities are just a fun way to hang out with awesome accordion friends from all over the country! We want this to feel like a wonderful vacation where you get to perform and learn, too! We want to make this a blast for everyone involved – the participants and the spouses and family members will have lots of fun at Albuquerque Accordion Extravaganza and Band Camp 2025!
