The 9th Annual Polish Festival in North Vancouver, BC on September 3rd, 2023. Enjoy Eastern European Romani (Gypsy) music performed by PARNO DROM. The festival takes place at 115 Victory Ship Way, North Vancouver, BC.


Come to the Shipbuilders’ Square and Pipe Shop @CityOfNorthVan on September 3, 2023 from 1 PM to 8 PM as the richness of Polish culture, tradition, and arts is celebrated.

PARNO DROM is a group formed by Bob Kozak, a talented accordionist and vocalist. The group performs Eastern European Romani (Gypsy) style music and their repertoire includes music from Russia; Poland; Hungary; and beyond. They sing in the original language of each song including the Romany language of the Gypsies. As musicians they have performed internationally: Japan, England, Russia, Poland, Germany, and USA, to name a few. PARNO DROM provides wonderful entertainment for any occasion from casual events, festivals and weddings to formal business functions.

Bob Kozak is leader of the group, born in Poland, member of the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) and a member of World Artists Initiative “Khetanes”. Members of the group include: Katya Kiselyova on guitar and vocals; Elizabeth Lesztak, dancer; Lubov Plett on violin.

The 9th annual Polish Cultural Festival will feature Polish music, singing, folk dancing and specials program for children and youth. The Polish Festival Vancouver is organized by The North Shore Polish Association Belweder, celebrating Polish culture, folklore, music, cuisine, and more.
