The AAA Accordion Festival features an exciting line up of presenters and performers. The luncheon concert includes: Rachel Quirbach, Will Comer, Mitch Guido, Cody McSherry, Antony and Joseph Klettner.
The Accordion Pops Orchestra will be conducted by Al Terzo. Dr. William Morse will conduct the 2017 AAAFestival Orchestra. Junior Festival Orchestra will be conducted by AAA President Mary Tokarski. Mitch Guido will conduct the Youth Track and Youth Involvement Program Jazz Ensemble.
The following workshops will be presented during the AAA Festival:
1. Youth Track Workshop: “Chords and Grooves for the Accordion: How to Play with Bass and Drums” – Presenter, Dallas Vietty
2. ” The Accordion in Opera, 1898 to the Present” –Presenter, Dr. Robert Young McMahon
3. “Telling Stories without Words: Improving Your Musical Expression and Phrasing” – Presenter, Rachel Quirbach
4. “The Accordion as Citizen of the World: Writing Music for our Eclectic Instrument” – Presenter, Will Holshouser
5. “Getting Around Stradella” – Presenter, Dr. William Morse
6. “What Events Led to the Formation of the American Accordionists’ Association?” – Presenter Joan Grauman, AAA Historian ‘
7. “From Eisenhower to Flower Power –How to Perform “The Music You Grew Up With”!!! – Presenter, Bruce Gassman

After Hours Club Each Evening: Bring your instrument and be a part of the entertainment! Everyone is welcome. Wednesday with Guest Host Will Holshouser, Thursday with Guest Host Jamie Maschler, and Saturday with Guest Host, Bruce Gassman. After Hours Club will start at 9:PM or immediately following all other activities.
Gala Concert (Ticket required) – Guest Artists: Jamie Maschler, Will Holshouser, Eddie Monteiro, Bruce Gassman, Dallas Vietty and Ron Oswanski, Dr. Robert Young McMahan with Cecylia Barczyk and Emmanuel Borowsky.
In addition to excellent performers and workshops there will be many opportunities to play in orchestras or solo. The hotel is in walking distance of shops and restaurants and close to tourist attractions.
