Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

TIME seems to just fly by! We all have the same amount of TIME. Have you ever wondered how many songs have been written with TIME in the title? Here are a few: See how many you can hum, or even better –play! A TIME FOR LOVE, TIME ON MY HANDS, JUST IN TIME, SUMMERTIME, TIME AFTER TIME, I DIDN’T KNOW WHAT TIME IT WAS, ANYTIME, AS TIME GOES BY, TIME WAS, SOME OTHER TIME, TIME REMEMBERED.

It is just about TIME for my two years as ATG President to be up! It has been a TIMELY experience! I have enjoyed meeting many ATG members at our Festivals, and working with the ATG Board members. We have worked very hard to present wonderful, exciting Festivals which include world-class guest artists, workshops, concerts, orchestra, and all that goes into a great Festival. I appreciate all the many people who have contributed their TIME and talents to help ATG continue to promote the accordion!

It is TIME to put the ATG Festival for 2018 on your calendar, July 25 –28, 2018. We will be back at the lovely Hyatt Hotel in Lisle, IL (near Chicago). Our special guest artists will be World Champion Matthias Matzke from Germany, our own Master of the Accordion, Cory Pesaturo, and Chicago Jazz Artist Mike Alongi.

The event will also feature many other fine soloists, ATG Orchestra, President’s Quartette, Mixed Ensemble, and other talented groups. We will have great workshops, original music for Accordion Concert, Vendors, and just a lot of FUN. Please plan now to attend. I know the TIME you spend at the ATG Festival will be a memorable one
