Accordions Worldwide is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Faithe Deffner, a legendary figure in the accordion world who received many awards for her enormous contribution to the development of the accordion.

Faithe Deffner died today, June 3 2014, after a lengthy illness. 

We extend our deepest sympathy to her family and her many friends in the accordion world.

The funeral took place on Friday, June 6, at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Boynton Beach, Florida. Internment was at Beth David Cemetery in Hollywood, Florida.
