Breaking News: Roland Corporation Anounces V-Accordion Production – Italy

Roland and Fatar sign V-Accordion outsourcing agreement. Roland Corporation Japan announced today (4th September 2014) that a new production and outsourcing agreement with Fatar srl has been finalized, and manufacturing for the V-Accordion® line will resume this August in Italy.

Fatar is an Italian supplier of keyboards for digital pianos, synthesizers and organs, based in Recanati, Italy. The company was founded by Lino Ragni in 1956.

By combining the efforts of Roland’s expert engineering teams in Japan and Fatar’s renowned craftsmanship and quality standards, Roland remains dedicated to the ongoing development of the very specialised V-Accordions instruments.

As digital modeling continues to grow in popularity around the world, so too has the need for innovative V-Accordion models.

Notable musicians who have used Roland V-Accordions on stage and in the studio include Sergio Scappini, Ludovic Beier, Weird Al” Yankovic and Nora Kirkpatrick from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, among many others.
