It is with heavy hearts that organizers announce they are cancelling this year’s Vancouver Folk Music Festival which was scheduled to take place in July 2020.

“The safety of our community, staff, contractors, artists, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, suppliers, patrons and festival supporters is of utmost importance. We know this is the responsible decision for everyone’s health.”

Next year’s event has already been scheduled to take place from July 16th to 18th, 2021.

REMINDER: If you purchased tickets to the 2020 Festival, please check the e-mail address (including your spam folder) you used to buy tickets for information on donating the cost of your Festival ticket, rolling over to 2021, or receiving a full refund. If you did not receive an email, please reach out to jennifer@thefestival.bc.ca for next steps. Requests must be received before May 18th. If we don’t hear from you, your ticket will automatically rollover to 2021.
