Accordion duo Gregory and Elena Fainshtein have become increasingly busy in the accordion world. Among their appearances in the past year were the Mesa Accordion Event, the NAA Convention, The ATG Festival, and the LVIAC (Las Vegas International Accordion Convention.

Elena Fainshtein is a professional accordion performer, accordion/bayan teacher, piano teacher and conductor. She has had experience teaching the accordion and piano for over twenty five years. Currently she works with children and adults in her home studio located in Plano, Texas. She also gives Skype accordion lessons.

For several decades Elena and her husband, Gregory, have been playing duos together. They met at music college in Russia at the age of 17. Their music brought them from Russia, to Israel, and then Texas. Additionally, Elena conducts the Happy Fingers Accordion Band, a group of amateur players of varying ages. Their recent performance was at the Dallas Accordion Convention a well as various recitals and accordion clubs. All are welcome to join.

Their next performance will be for the Dallas, TX. Accordion Association on Tuesday, September2, 2014, IHOP 1313 W. Centerville Rd., Garland, Texas. Elena and Gregory take every possible opportunity to perform at various venues and have expanded their musical services to private parties, festivals, events, and weddings.

The Fainshteins have another CD, “Musical Adventures” which is also available.
