The Emerald City Accordion Camp was held at the Kirkland Performance Center in Kirkland, Seattle, USA from October 26th to 29th, 2023.

The camp included:
• Instruction from Jamie Maschler and Gabe Hall Rodrigues, accordionists with years of experience (who were married in September 2023).
• Accordion Orchestra arrangements for the group. Chance to perform with a trio (bass and piano).
• Ample hands-on practice time to solidify your skills and technique.
• Collaborative learning environment fostering musical friendships and camaraderie.
• Workshop materials and resources to continue your learning beyond the camp.

A final orchestra performance will be held on November 1, 2023 at 7:30 PM. at the Kirkland Performance Center. Additionally, special guest band, Foleada, will perform. Foleada is a six-piece band based in Seattle that plays forró, the rhythmic Brazilian music and the popular partner dance of the same name. Featuring the charismatic Brazilian vocalist/percussionist Adriana Giordano, the music is led by accordionists Jamie Maschler and Gabe Hall-Rodrigues, joined by percussionists Jeff Busch and Sam Esecson on pandeiro (Brazilian tambourine) and zabumba (Afro-Brazilian drum).
