The European Foundation for Support of Culture (EUFSC) in partnership with SAMIT Event Group, launched the first edition of the Middle East Classical Music Academy (MECMA) in Dubai from September 4th to 23rd, 2021

Friedrich Lips was invited to take part in the first performance of the composer in residence, Alexey Shor, at the Music Hall, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel in Dubai on September 10th.

Lips performed “Carpe Diem” for bandoneon (bayan) with the Kaliningrad Symphony Orchestra conducted by Valid Agayev.

The three week event will include a number of concerts, courses, lectures, seminars, and masterclasses set to be led by a roster of globally distinguished musicians and music pedagogues.
