Dr. Robert Young McMahan, Chair of the American Accordionists’ Association (AAA) Composers’ Commission Committee has written a number of very interesting articles on the contemporary concert works for accordion that have been commissioned by the AAA over the years.

Robert McMahan is the recently retired Professor of Music at The College of New Jersey and was also the Area Coordinator of Musicianship and Composition, as well as artist-teacher of classical accordion.
