

Carol Ann Ettore-Asimou (picture above), 63, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, of Andover NJ, passed away on March 19, 2021. An only child, born in Newark to Eugene and Concetta Ettore, Mrs. Ettore-Asimou lived most of her life in Livingston and settled in Andover in 2016.
For many years, she was an event planner for LAPP Corp. in Florham Park. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling to Greece during the summer and spending time with her family. Crafting was a passion of hers, especially the art of Rosary making. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and will be remembered for her caring nature.
Her father, Eugene Ettore, was a prominent composer, teacher and accordionist who made important contributions to the accordion world. Carol and her family attended Eugene Ettore events including a Memorial Scholarship Concert held in her father’s honor in Livingston, New Jersey which featured many prominent accordionists. Rita Barnea also organized and performed in a Memorial Concert for him in 2010.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, John Asimou; her devoted sons, Eugene A. Asimou and his wife,Taryn Alysha, and Christopher J. Asimou, and granddaughter, Bella. She is also survived by many aunts, nieces, nephews, extended relatives and dear friends. Services were held on Sunday, March 21, at the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home in Roseland. Cremation services were private. The family suggests that donations may be made in the memory of Mrs. Ettore-Asimou to the charity of the donor’s choice.
