Join the Connecticut Accordion Association at the Pequot Library in Southport, CT on October 28, 2023 from 2-4:PM when the Connecticut Accordion Orchestra, under the direction of Conductor Peter Peluso, will perform a variety of pieces from musical theater and classic jazz. Added to the repertoire will be Mary Jane Peluso on piano in a superb rendition of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Vocalists from within the orchestra will perform. In addition, the orchestra will accompany a young vocal student of Peter Peluso’s. Riley Lincavicks will perform “What I Did For Love,” from the musical “A Chorus Line” and “Maybe This Time,” from “Cabaret”.

Peter Peluso has long been a teacher and mentor of successful young vocalists. A teacher of the arts in Hartford, CT for years, Peter has been a mainstay in musical theater and choral groups in and around his hometown of Plainville, CT.

Riley Lincavicks is a prime example of the collaboration between teacher and student. Riley has been taking voice lessons for 15 years. She attended Shenandoah Conservatory, where she graduated with her BFA in Musical Theatre and her Masters in Performing Arts Leadership and Management. She has performed in regional theaters and theme parks across the country. Some of her favorite roles include Olive Ostrovsky ( Spelling Bee) and Wendla Bergmann (Spring Awakening). Up next she will be performing on the Essex Steam Train for their holiday season.
