We are honored that Stas has dedicated Poetic Rhapsody to AWAM. In addition to requesting support of AWAM’s Internet outreach events, we are also requesting specially earmarked donations to reward Stas for his new composition via our GoFundMe page.”

Helmi Harrington shares, “Stas Venglevski, in dedicating his new major composition to me as curator of A World of Accordions Museum, grants unique recognition and becomes a landmark “first” in our history. Understanding this dedication in conjunction with the assets afforded by the museum, Poetic Rhapsody lends us the dignity of Stas’ world-renown as composer and artist. The honor is heightened by the fact of its world premiere at our institution.

The concert’s first half will present J. S. Bach’s music. The second half will present Yehuda Yannay’s Fantasietta with Interruptions on a Theme in F minor, William Susman’s Zydeco Madness and Stas’ Poetic Rhapsody.
