Frank Petrilli is a jazz accordionist based in Los Angeles, California, known for his significant contributions to both the accordion and jazz communities on the West Coast and throughout the United States. He began playing the accordion at age 7 and was performing professionally by age 16. As the popularity of the accordion waned in the U.S., Petrilli spent about 15 years playing Hammond B3 organ and saxophone before returning to the accordion in 2006.

Petrilli is praised for his smooth, fluid style and impeccable phrasing, which breathe new life into jazz accordion playing. This approach is often compared to that of his mentor, Frank Marocco, but Petrilli brings his own warmth and feeling to each note.
