Westmont Philharmonia Accordion Orchestra in Concert on Dec. 6

The Camden Count Library System presents the Westmont Philharmonia Accordion Orchestra on Saturday, Dec.6, 2014 at 3:PM at the William G. Rohrer Memorial Library, 15 MacArthur Boulevard, Westmont, New Jersey.
The Camden County Library System continues to present local artists and perfuming ensembles of a high caliber with the presentation of the Westmont Philharmonia Accordion Orchestra. Founded in 1960, the WPAO is under the direction of its founder, Stanley Darrow. The WPAO has performed varied programs both nationally and internationally.
Included in the concert will be works covering many genres of musical literature. Some of the compositions are:
“Palladio”- Karl Jenkins
“Devil’s Dance – J. Hellmesberger
“L’Arlesienne (Suite #2)” – G. Bizet
“St. Paul’s Suite” – G. Holst
“Balkan Impressions” – G. Mohr
“Choral and Rock Out” – Ted Huggens
“Iphegenie in Aulis” – C. Gluck
Included in this program will be the “Concerto in A” by Pietro Deiro Sr. Featured soloist is Pennsauken resident and orchestra member, Annette Marinelli.
