On July 24, 25 and 26, Dr. William Schimmel will be the Moderator/Curator of the 2009 Annual Seminars. This will be the fifteenth year and the event is sponsored by the American Accordionists’ Association.

The title is: “WELCOME HOME SKINNY almost (not) (t)here”. It takes place on July 24, 25 AND 26 2009 at the Tenri Cultural Institute of New York, 43A West 13th St. between 5th AND 6th Ave.

Each afternoon master class will begin with an interactive segment: four or five accordionists from the audience who wish to perform will receive comments, advice and encouragement from the seminar participants, members of the audience and from William Schimmel.

Reserve a place early! Performances will be in a staggering variety of styles, genres and angles. Many well known accordionists will be performing!

Master classes are at 3:PM . Concerts are at 7:PM. The fee is $20 for each master class, $25 for each concert or $40 for each day. The entire weekend is $110.
