On February 25, 2024, join Walter Martella, Karina Inkster, and Terry Martyniuk who will be performing a “preview” show, called “Accordion Extravaganza”. Here they will officially announce their plans for the qathet Accordion Fest which is on May 10 1and 11, 2024. Karina shares, “Side note: qathet is the Indigenous name of our geographic region and is always spelled with a lowercase “q”.

Join them for an hour of classical, jazz, and tango music on accordion, piano, and percussion. Walter and Karina and Terry will perform a few new selections, as well as older favorites in new arrangements.

The event will be held The Powell River Academy of Music, a not-for-profit community music school offering excellence in arts education to students of all ages.
