Happy New Year to all! It is the beginning of a new year and a new decade ……………many unique developments on the accordion horizon…….new types of instruments and new artists to share their special skills on the accordion.

I will call the accordion………THE INSTRUMENT OF THE DECADE!!!

I invite all of you to share your musical concerts and events this coming year. Our readers would like to know what accordionists of every level are doing in the musical world. For example, did you know that the accordion is an integral part of the orchestra of the Cirque de Soleil all over the world? Did you know that Madonna has an accordionist in her band? Bob Dylan used the accordion in his latest CD. There are so many more examples.
