Be sure to attend the American Accordionists’ Association (AAA) 75th Anniversary Festival to be held at the New Yorker Hotel in NYC from August 14-18, 2013. The International Concert takes place on Thursday, August 15th at 1:30 PM in the Crystal Ballroom of the New Yorker.

The International Concert includes virtuoso accordionists who will dazzle you with their skills, charm, and versatility. The guest artists include: Cathie Travers from Australia (see article in this issue), Lionel Reekie from New Zealand, Gamie Aker Spelemannslag and the The Old Aker Band from Norway, Mirco Patarini from Italy (see June USA News for article about him), Maricarmen Vazquez on accordion and Gerardo Auilion from Cuba, Musikforum Olching and Karin Renner-Kiese, conductor from Germany, and Norwegian Champion Einar Thokie Hoyden.

International Concert tickets are included with the AAA Event Package, available now. Individual tickets are available on the day of the concert: $25 per person; $10 for students under 16 who are entered in the AAA Competition.
