The Arizona Golf Resort in Mesa, Arizona, will be the site for the 7th annual concert of the Mesa Accordion Event (formerly Frank Marocco Accordion Event) Orchestra. The concert will take place on Sunday, February 17 at 7:00 pm. This year’s event brings together over 50 accordionists from around the US, Canada and Italy, ranging in age from early teens to the late eighties.

Activities that take place during this annual four-day event include intensive daily rehearsals, workshops, and evening activities, such as solo and group performances and jam sessions. The Music Director and conductor of the orchestra is world renowned bayanist, Stas Venglevski.

The annual concert has become a favorite among residents from all over the Phoenix area and draws an audience of over 400. This year’s orchestral selections include arrangements by Frank Marocco, Joan Cochran Sommers, Stas Venglevski, and others. The concert will be dedicated to the memory of Frank Marocco, the founder of the event.
