After many years of requests for a live album and DVD of their on-stage antics, the band has finally captured their spontaneous spirit.
Alex is featured with his dynamic accordion, horn and vocal performances along with Hank Guzevich (of the 4 time Grammy-nominated Polka Family Band) on trumpet, guitar, and vocals; Joe Tierney on Sax, Clarinet, Guitar and Vocals; and Tom Haller on Drums. Special Guest vocalists Michael Morris and Bubba Hernandez (a 2 time Grammy winner with Brave Combo) add to the excitement.

Alex Meixner is a nationally acclaimed, Grammy-nominated musician, performer, bandleader, educator and a leading advocate of polka music. He is an active ambassador for polka music, revitalizing interest coast to coast, resulting in sold-out shows, renewed cultural interest and growing mainstream acceptance.
This band’s mission is about much more than playing energetic shows, it’s providing a much-needed positive experience that pulls communities together to celebrate history, culture and genuinely good times. The band’s latest album, You Asked for It, was recorded live and released in 2016.
