On October 15th, I’ll be returning to Smalls for their 6pm and 7:30pm sets. I’m looking forward to more appearances in the New York area, including a show with my Brazilian Quintet at Smalls.

Smalls is genuinely one of my favorite clubs in NYC, and these sets will be special because I’ll be bringing my Brazilian group fresh off of recording our next album! It’s going to be a great band, featuring the core quintet from the record: Cesar Garabini on guitar, Eduardo Belo on bass, Ben Zweig on drums, Gustavo Di Dalva on percussion and me on piano and accordion.

At the end of the month, I’m joining Laura Anglade for a number of exciting shows in California! We’ll be making a quick stop in Santa Monica for a concert at The Georgian Room on October 24th. From there, we’ll be headed to the Bay Area for four shows at some of the best clubs in the area: Yoshi’s in Oakland (10/26), SJZ Break Room in San Jose (10/28), Kuumbwa Jazz in Santa Cruz (10/29) and the Bankhead Theater in Livermore (10/30).
