Dr. William Schimmel performs his arrangements (“Realities”) on four new videos that can be seen and heard on YouTube. The songs are: “Blue Room” (Rodgers and Hart), “So in Love” (Cole Porter), “All the things you are” (Jerome Kern) and “Brother can you spare a Dime” (Jay Gorney/Yip Harburg).

The backdrop of the pieces are paintings by his son, Michael Schimmel, a prize winning painter and musician with Down Syndrome. The conception and direction is by Micki Goodman, the video filming of Dr. Schimmel’s performance is by Benjamin Niemczyk and the editing is by Godfrey Nelson.
