Emmanuel Glasser New CD

Emmanuel Gasser has released his fourth CD titled “Emmanuel Gasser Goes Classical”. As the name suggests, it is his first CD that consists strictly of classical repertoire. The 12 tracks are a compilation of original works written for accordion, as well as, transcriptions initially written for harpsichord, piano or bandoneon among others.

The list of composers contains names from the Renaissance and Baroque era including Gaspar Sanz, J.S. Bach and Domenico Scarlatti to 21st century composers. The most recent pieces include two original, award-winning compositions by the performer, Emmanuel Gasser. All the pieces recorded are selections that Emmanuel has played at prestigious international competitions.

His beloved late teacher, Alexander Sevastian, had guided him in preparation for these competitions of highest level music. It is with this CD, “Emmanuel Gasser Goes Classical”, that Emmanuel wishes to preserve the musical artistry instilled in him by his beloved teacher, Alexander Sevastian.

The 21 years old award winning accordionist lives in St. Charles, ON. He has fascinated audiences everywhere, since the age of nine with his breathtaking performances. He is gaining recognition as an excellent accordionist in North America winning numerous trophies and awards in many North American and International competitions, as well as representing Canada at the Coupe Mondiale, Trophée Mondiale, FIF Castelfidardo, IAWK Germany and IAC Switzerland.
