Video 2: “Superman” This is an epic accordion arrangement of the “Superman: March.” Dan Christian has taken the entire John Williams symphonic score and arranged it for just 2 accordions!! Amazing! This piece represents just one song from the Squeeze Play Premier Virtual Concert.

Kim and Dan Christian invite all to their Albuquerque Accordion Extravaganza and Band camp from May 12-14, 2022. Come and be a part of this fun, interactive 3 day event where you will be working together with people all over the USA to perform an awesome and entertaining set of music in front of an appreciative and energetic audience in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

When you get signed up, you will be sent the music to seven great band pieces. This is a very fun event where Kim and Dan promise that you will definitely notice an improvement in your technical playing skills, articulation, and performance skills and you will be very proud to be part of this impressive Accordion Orchestra! The audience absolutely loved this orchestra performance in 2019 and it was covered and applauded by the Albuquerque Television News team! The band will be accompanied by the famous Las Vegas drummer, Rich Delabio!

Thursday, May 12: Rehearsal 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Friday, May 13: Lunch with fellow accordionists, a fun activity, and an open mic for anyone who would like to perform: Rehearsal 6-9:PM

Saturday, May 14: Workshops 9:30 – 11:30 AM
Saturday, May 14: Dress Rehearsal from 4:00- 5:PM at First Unitarian Church
Concert from 7:00 – 9:PM – First Unitarian Church

Registration Fee: $135 which Includes: Music, workshops, and the ability to work directly with Dan and Kim in a band setting which will help improve your playing skills and most importantly, you will be part of a performance that you can be proud of for a large crowd. On the back end, the fee helps pay for the rental of the facilities, marketing and other expenses.

If you would like to schedule a private lesson before the event to make sure you understand and are playing your parts correctly, this can be arranged with Dan or Kim Christian for a discounted lesson price. This is suggested, but not mandatory.
