The AAA is looking forward with excitement to the premiere of its latest commission and first internationally commissioned work, by the acclaimed Italian composer, teacher and accordionist Antonio Spaccarotella.

In accepting the AAA’s commission, Antonio Spaccarotella has also agreed to attend the 2023 AAA Festival in July to hear the world premiere performed by Grayson Masefield and to also make a special presentation about his music and teaching. Antonio Spaccarotella commented that it is an “immense pleasure to collaborate with the AAA,” and that “these events (promoting new compositions) are very important for the growth of our instrument, and that is why I have agreed to accept this commission.”

Just published is the latest expanded article about AAA Composers Commissions. The original version was published in the 2016 edition of the AAA Journal about José Serebrier’s delightful work for accordion and chamber orchestra, Passacaglia and Perpetuum Mobile.
