Many thanks Lucas Pellarin” Jacques Pellarin is a composer, accordionist and a music producer well known internationally for The French Chic & Eclectic Accordion collection from Jacques Pellarin music productions.Wes George, Owner JazzNet247 Project, shares: “Jacques Pellarin is a prolific French composer, accordionist and producer who is known internationally for his French Chic and Eclectic accordion music.He has recorded 16 albums to date encompassing many genres :- from Jazz to French Cinema to Latin Jazz to Crossover Traditional to Classical music.

His latest release entitled ‘Paris Sunlight’ (12/21) is a collection of self penned songs which celebrates the Parisienne Café Culture popular in the early 1900 century in the City Of Romance when café proprieters would hire accordion players to entertain the ‘al frecso’ visitors. Jacques Pellarin performed in the famous Cathedral of Chartres & Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy (France) with the Baikal duo.( Accordion festivals).

Jacques has undertaken many tours during his stellar career to date including :- to the USA, throughout Europe and to Japan, sometimes with other artists, such as The Baikal Duo, The Jacques Pellarin Trio, but more recently as a solo artist and with the duet JAC & CO.

His music is often featured on the Radio, particularly on the Morning Edition on NPR and his composition ‘Orgue des Faubours’ was featured in the US movie entitled ‘Separation’ in 2021 via Briarcliff Entertainment starring Rupert Friend and Madeline Brewer. His composition ‘Fleur de Bossa’ is featured in the new Michelle Pfeiffer US motion picture called ‘French Exit’ and Jacques had no fewer than 8 songs featured in a movie about fashion in 2020 called ‘Scale’ by the famous director Nick Knight.

His music has been featured often on NHK TV in Japan and has been used in a national documentary there.Three of Jacques’ compositions featured in the beautiful playlist Music Apple which depicted the theme of Paris Café Classic French Vibes. It included other notable French musicians and vocalist both past and present such as :- Edith Piaf, Michel Legrand, Charles Aznavour, Manu Dibango, Babik Reinhardt and Avishai Cohen.
