Peter Greaser, accordion student of Elena Fainshtein, recently won the State of Texas “Big Squeeze” contest in the Polka category in Austin,Texas. Peter, who is thirteen years old, frequently plays accordion in his church. Peter will participate in the ATG Festival in Lisle, Ill. in July where he will perform a new composition , “Spanish Nights”, written especially for him by former ATG President Amy Jo Sawyer.

Peter intends to continue his accordion and musical studies. His future goals include becoming an engineer or architect. Peter is a talented, intelligent and determined young man with a great future. We all wish him continuing successes in all of his endeavors.
