The next Sequim Accordion Social will feature Andy Mirkovich on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.

Join fellow accordion players, enthusiasts, and dancers for an afternoon of music and fun. All players are encouraged to bring their instrument and play a few selections. Admission: Suggested $5 donation at the door to cover the hall rental and to thank our featured player.

Andy Mirkovich started playing the accordion at 5 years of age. He took lessons for 16 years, the last 12 with Joe Spano. He graduated from Seattle University with a BA in music, then studied composition at the U of W Graduate School of Music. He founded Andy Mirkovich Productions which became the oldest and largest theatrical production agency in the PNW. Andy has been a featured performer at the Space Needle Restaurant for 11 years. He has also performed on radio, television, movies, commercials, recordings and concerts. He adjudicated and performed at music festivals in Leavenworth, Seattle, Portland, Yakima, Spokane, Forest Grove, Phillipsburg, Kellogg, Vancouver and Victoria. BC.

Some notable performances Andy has either performed with or for include Lawrence Welk, Myron Floren, Dick Continuo, Art Van Damme, Frankie Yankovich, Liberace, Burl Ives, the Vienna Boys Choir, Danny Kaye, King Hussein of Jordan and the King and Queen of Norway.

The program takes place at Shiipley Center, 921 E. Hammond, Sequin, Washington.
