Duo Accordions will also perform for the San Francisco Accordion Club on April 16, 2023. The Teleshev family duo Two Accordions is a unique collaboration between father, Sergei and daughter, Maria, both renowned musicians and world accordion champions, winning international accordion competitions around the globe. Together they play a diversity of styles including Classical, Tango, Jazz, Pop, original music and more…

Classically trained at the Academy of Music in Voronezh, Russia, Sergei Teleshev has won numerous regional and international accordion competitions. In addition, he collaborates with many internationally recognized artists, ensembles, and orchestras, composing and arranging music and participating in recording projects of different genres. Sergei has sat as a jury member at international accordion competitions from the USA and Canada to the Ukraine, and major “accordion” capitals in between. If this isn’t enough, Sergei is also available for online accordion lessons, master classes, and educational school programs for all ages.

Maria Telesheva was six years old when she started to play the accordion under the tutelage of her father. Within two months after she started playing, Maria won her first international competition and she hasn’t stopped since, taking prizes in competitions in the United States, Canada, Australia, Italy, and Belarus. Not only is Maria an exceptionally talented duet and solo accordion performer, she is also a talented singer, singing in both Russian and English.
