The World Accordion Orchestra III in New Zealand, August 25 – 29!

Once again during the Coupe Mondiale competitions, concerts, official meetings and the many social events, the World Accordion Orchestra will have two rehearsals and then perform on the Grand Finale Concert on the last evening.

For the third time, accordionists of all levels and ages, both professionals and amateurs, will share their passion for the accordion by performing in an orchestra representing countries from all over the world. Already confirmed are about 80 players out of the expected 144 participants.

The orchestra will perform three compositions led by three different conductors from three different countries. Gary Daverne (NZ), Joan Sommers (USA), and Fritz Dobler (Germany) have all had much experience and success in the field of the accordion orchestra. The music is now ready to send out via the internet to each registered player. Register now and begin learning your own part for this enjoyable, high quality musical event.
