
The Washington Metropolitan Accordion Society (WMAS) will celebrate their 13th Anniversary at the March 20, 2016 dance party meeting. Entertainment will be provided by club members who are invited to sign up to entertain the group.
The mission of the WMAS is to bring together accordionists and promote accordion music in the National Capital region. The meetings are held at 4:PM on one Sunday each month at the Sleepy Hollow United Methodist Church in Falls Church, Virginia.
The dedication of “Merv Conn Way” will take place Sunday, April 10, 2016, at 3:PM at 8830 Cameron Street in Silver Spring, Maryland. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the unveiling of the Merv Conn Way street sign, and light refreshments. In addition, WMAS will perform some of Merv’s favorites: “You Made Me Love You” and “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” You are welcome to participate.
The WMAS April 17, 2016 meeting will feature guest artists Duffy Llam and Bean Soup Projecy.
