The 2026 Chi Shanty Music Festival will be held at Bicentennial Park at the Miramichi waterfront in New Brunswick, Canada on June 6th and 7th, 2026. The Chi Shanty Music Festival celebrates maritime culture, particularly Acadian and folk music.

The event will be a “celebration of music, culture, history, food, and community, with performances from local and Maritime artists alongside a seaside vendor market and historical interpretation celebrating the shipbuilding legacy of the Miramichi River and Beaubears Island.”
The festival will begin with a Friday evening opening concert at the Ritchie Wharf on June 5, 2026 at 7:PM
“Dram & A Draw” will begin the concert, followed by La Famille LeBlanc. Dram & A Draw bring the classic East Coast kitchen party to life. Accordion-driven reels, fiddle energy, tight harmonies, and a fresh modern edge combine with original storytelling about Maritime life.
New singles produced by Juno-winner Jake Charron (The East Pointers) release in 2026. After years packing Maritime pubs, the four-piece are now hitting festival stages and bigger rooms with a contagious take on Celtic roots that makes the audience the heart of every show.
