2026 Rose City Accordion Camp May 31-June 5

The Rose City Accordion Club will host the 27th annual Accordion Camp from May 31-June 5, 2026 at Collins Retreat Center in Eagle Creek, Oregon. The 2026 conductors are Joe Natoli and Gail Campanella. Workshop instructors are John Guiliani and Toby Hanson. Register now.

Nestled in the forested foothills of Mt. Hood, rehearse orchestra and ensemble songs conducted by Joe Natoli and Gail Campanella, learn new skills in workshops taught by John Guiliani and Toby Hansen, and get help with trouble spots through one-one-one instruction.

2025 Rose City Accordion Orchestra:

David Beer, the Squeezebox Surgeon will spend an afternoon helping with minor accordion repair and to answer your questions about the delicate innards of accordions.

Gail Campanella, Conductor:

Evenings will be spent sharing songs and playing together in Music Circle. It’s an opportunity to grow your skills, build friendships, strengthen the accordion community, and have a lot of fun!

The 2025 RCAC Accordion Camp Summary was held June 1-6, 2025 at Collins Retreat Center, Eagle Creek, OR. Susan Schwab, Camp Director summary of the 2025 camp:
“There were 31 accordionist/orchestra members. 4 instructors/conductors: Joe Natoli, Gail Campanella, Courtney von Drehle and Toby Hanson. Open play was held every night (Sunday – Wednesday) after music circle.

There were 50/50 raffle and prizes. Wednesday was accordion tee shirt day. Bumperstickers, key chains and a swag were given out to campers. Thursday night was concert night; Willamette Falls studio recorded it.

The After party (concert night) was a blast! “Stump Toby” was played—Susan found a song he didn’t know; great snacks, wine, sodas, dancing and singing. Attendees were from: Oregon: Portland, Astoria, Roseburg, Beaverton, Canby, Stayton, Mt. Angel, Salem. Washington: Vancouver, Westport, Seattle, Washougal and Kennewick. California: Santa Barbara, Clovis, Folsom, Alpine, Malibu, Cupertino. Ohio.”

The Rose City Accordion Club (RCAC) is a nonprofit organization based in Portland, Oregon, dedicated to promoting the appreciation, performance, and preservation of accordion music.

It serves as a community hub for players, enthusiasts, and educators in the Pacific Northwest, fostering collaboration and public engagement through performances, workshops, and annual events.
