The Connecticut Accordion Association and the Pequot Library present “Stage, Screen and Television…on Accordion”. Under the direciton of Peter Peluso, the Connecticut Accordion Orchestra, along with surprise guest artists, will perform songs from the theater, movies and television on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 2:00 – 4:PM at the Pequot Library, 720 Pequot Ave., Southport, CT 06890.

The orchestra’s present conductor is Peter Peluso who has conducted the CAA Orchestra since 2016. The orchestra continues to perform regularly for large audiences across Connecticut, and its members include accordionists from Connecticut and beyond.

General Admission:  $10.00.  Age 12 and under are FREE.

CAA Christmas Concert – “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”

The Connecticut Acccordion Association began in 2004, the brainchild of Marilyn O’Neil and her accordion teacher, Mary Tokarski. The CAA is dedicated to the promotion of the accordion through all music genres and all variations of accordion instruments! CAA welcomes musicians who play all types of accordions….piano accordion, diatonic, chromatic button and more. Accordionists at all levels are invited to join, and people who may not play the accordion, but love to listen.

The CAA Orchestra beginning in 2004 under the direction of Linda Soley-Reed, former President of the American Accordionists’ Association made its debut at Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury in February 2005 and has performed in and out of state since its inception.

The CAA is a proud Affiliate of the American Accordionists’ Association. Special thanks to Sandy Zera! Her love of the accordion and dedication to the Pequot made this concert happen.
