The Alabama Accordion Club presents Jim Rommel in concert on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 2:PM at the Brookwood Baptist Church 3449 Overton Road, Mountain Brook, AL

Jim Rommel is a professional accordionist and singer who dazzles audience with his excellent musicianship and dynamic entertainment style. Jim has been featured entertainer at the Bavarian Grill in Plano Texas for the past 31 years. He has also been the featured performer in concerts with North Texas Symphonic Bands and Choirs, where the accordion was the centerpiece in the band/choral arrangement.

Jim’s CD, “Prost! A German-American Celebration” has been widely acclaimed in the accordion and polka community including endorsements from Myron Floren and Frank Yankovic,

Jim’s repertoire covers a wide spectrum of musical styles: German, Czech, French, Italian, Swing, Big Band, Standards and Classical music. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of North Texas as well as a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Texas A & M.

The Alabama Accordion Association meets quarterly at Brookwood Baptist Church, 3449 Overton Road, Mountain Brook, AL. The Club has been hosting Free Accordion Concerts to showcase the power and versatility of the Accordion and to attract new students.
