This convention will feature a first-time collaboration with the International Western Music Association and the Happy Music Center. In order to further promote interest in the accordion as a complete, flexible, portable instrument, we are inviting and encouraging the non-accordion groups to include one or more accordions in their rehearsals and performances. Accordionists are encouraged to join the bands and combos.

As always the convention invites other nearby accordion associations to participate. Also, as always, you are invited whether or not you are in a local group. In the coming weeks, we will be designing, workshop sessions that include the musical expertise of the collaborative groups.

There will be a swap shop with new and used accordions, repair expertise, medical professionals to provide advice concerning care of the hands, sessions on general musicality, and practical performing tips.
