Joseph Natoli is working hard for the GR8 IDEAS Symposium 5.0 to be held June 21 – June 24, 2026 in Warren, Ohio.

The IDEAS part of GR8 IDEAS stands for International Digital Electronic Accordion Society. It has been popular for the digital accordion.

The live Symposium starts on Sunday, June 21, 2026 when Joseph will be presenting the world premiere performance of a new work for accordion and Symphonic Wind Ensemble, a 5-movement suite written by composer Stan Bann of Minneapolis.

Stan Bann is an accomplished composer in this genre, and it is being written in tight collaboration with Joseph. The plan is for this new work to be about 20 minutes in length and will be performed by nationally renowned 100-year-old Packard Wind Symphony in Warren Ohio.

After this premiere performance, the registrants will gather at the 5-star country club, The Grand Resort in Warren, Ohio for a Meet and Greet party and jam session before the Symposium activities start the next day.

The Grand Resort is a vacation destination with a just completed$30 million renovation that includes an outdoor Roman spa with pool, outdoor patio bar and grill area, a new wine cellar, new cigar room, year round outdoor lit pool, an indoor Olympic size pool, an indoor tennis court, recreation/gaming area for kids and teens, a gorgeous professional golf course, and a multi-million-dollar physical fitness area, not to mention the glam spa areas focusing on hot rock and regular massages, as well as hand and foot pedicures and massages.

As the Symposium spans from Monday to Wednesday, GR8 IDEAS will include workshops and teaching sessions. Of course, the well-established Roland FR series instruments, as well as Bugari Evo will be featured and discussed and this year the Korg Fisa Suprema will also be featured and presented in workshops for those who have purchased this new offering from Korg.

Thus far our highly skilled teachers and performing artists will include Cory Pesaturo, Eddie Monteiro, Matthias Matzke, and Joseph Natoli. We will have our famous evening jam sessions.
