In November 2018, Circus Bella offered its first winter showcase, Kaleidoscope, located in a big top circus tent on Treasure Island. In the summer of 2019 it toured this production to Snowmass and Avon Colorado. Circus Bella currently operates as a 501c3, not-for-profit organization.

Rob Reich is the bandleader performing on accordion, keyboards and glockenspiel. Rob has performed in concert halls, circus tents, dance clubs, and chapels. This breadth of experience has made him a foremost performer and composer in the Bay Area. Reich grew up in Long Island, NY, studying piano from age three. He graduated with a degree in Music Composition from Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where he studied with John Luther Adams and Pauline Oliveros. In 2000 he moved to the Bay Area, where he discovered the accordion, now his primary instrument.

Rob Reich and Band
Reich’s music defies genre, combining strong melodic ideas, rhythmic drive, and a spirit of irreverence and experimentation. His many musical projects include serving as long-time musical director for Circus Bella. He’s also known for his work with Tin Hat & Gaucho. Reich recently released an EP of original music, Cloisters, available on bandcamp. “Whatever context he’s in, Reich transforms it into a creative hothouse where thousands of musical flowers bloom.” – Andy Gilbert, East Bay Express www.robreich.com
