The San Diego Accordion Extravaganza and Band Camp will be held from May 13 – 16, 2026 at the San Diego Wyndham Days Inn.
Registration closes March 15, 2026 so make sure to get registered so you don’t miss out on this fabulous opportunity!
There will be 3 days of in depth rehearsals where the focus will be work on, articulation and genre specific performance techniques, There will be opportunities for you to perform for enthusiastic accordion friends at the open mic evenings. Saturday, May 16.
Once you registered, you will receive your music so that you can get started on it. Each month, there will have 1 – 2 video lessons on Zoom covering all the details of each song. As the time gets closer to the performance, you will also receive a video of the song at the tempo that it will be played, so that you can practice at home with the video. All of these lessons and videos are included in the registration price.
The intention for this event is that you will have lots of fun and you will be very proud to be a part of this Awesome Accordion Orchestra!

Now the fun stuff!: Since Band Camp is being held in San Diego, CA where there are lots of exciting things to do, there will be several group fun activities which will be optional but strongly suggested so that all accordionists, spouses and family members will have a blast! Some of these include an excursion to the Harbor for lunch and a Harbor Cruise, and a trip to Balboa Park, Mission Beach and Boardwalk and the fabulous SeaWorld!!
There are lodging reservations available now. The fantastic room rates are just $119.. with FREE parking, which is unheard of in San Diego!!!
